Maverick Is ‘Raising The Bar’

COAST CITIES · It’s all about service and quality for Jamie Waller and Maverick Painting.

“I tell my crews to act like they are painting their grandma’s house!” he said. “This means clean language, absolute honesty, proper prepping and respect to the customer and the job.”

He is the boy next door who has built his business from the ground up and wants you to remember him. He, his wife and three children live in Cardiff. Jamie wants to do away with loosely structured companies doing slap-dash unprofessional work, with his motto “Raising the Bar for Contractors.”

You’ll recognize that motto when you spot him in his Maverick truck around Cardiff and the surrounding north counties.

“It is important to me that our customers trust us and feel comfortable having us in their homes,” he said. “I had one client who gave me the keys to his house and went to Europe. That’s the level of confidence I aim for.” Waller will even email photos of the work to clients so they can follow the progress.

In addition, Maverick takes on just one or two jobs at a time. Waller makes sure he can be at every job site and take care of any issue without delaying the job. Maverick Painting is, of course, licensed, bonded and insured and uses only low-VOC, environmentally friendly paint from Sherwin Williams.
